Toms River - Josephine A. Postel died August 11, 2021, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. After marriage, the family moved to Toms River. While living in Toms River, she was employed at Wallach's Sporting Goods. She also lived in Brick, NJ for 45 years.
She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Harold; her brother and sister-in-law, Xavier and Marion Miniaci and her sister, Laura.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Sorrentino; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Debbie Postel; grandchildren Bill Sorrentino, Jr., Lisa and John Schweitzer, Heather Powell, Kristin and Kaylee Colgan; great grandchildren, Morgan Sorrentino, Mia, Hunter and Carly Schweitzer, Gianna and Adryanna Powell; beloved nieces and nephews and their families and her dear friend, Amy Baxter.
Services are private and under the direction of Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you spend time enjoying your family.
