Joyce L. Blair

She lived her life as a resident of Toms River.  Joyce graduated from THE Toms River High School in 1968.  She spent time working at the 1st National Bank of Toms River and then spent 10 years working for Ma Bell before finding her niche as a secretary in numerous Toms River Elementary schools.  She forged many long lasting friendships during her 26 year career there.  Joyce enjoyed showing her artistic skills by creating many bulletin boards for her favorite teachers.  She was also a “Mouse-a-holic” having visited Walt Disney World over 50 times; her most enjoyable times were the couple of months each year she was able to spend in Jupiter, FL.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Blair; her daughter, Jennifer Blair and partner Amanda Harrell; her sister and brother-in-law, Judi and Stephan Leone; in-laws, Eileen Blair, Edward and Tricia Blair, Pat and Joe Mathos; her Favorite cousin, Judy and Peter Gray, Tim Maclearie and of course her beloved pug, Bubba, who never let a day go by without making her laugh.

A memorial visitation will be on Sunday, June 6, 2021 1:00 to 3:00 pm with a 2:30 service at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 W, Toms River, NJ.

Masks are required at all times upon entering and attending services in the funeral home.  We ask that you also social distance while paying your respects to the family.
