Kathy became a good friend of mine where we worked at Bamberger's in Tom's River, NJ.  She had two boys, Eric and jay.  I had two daughters and one son.  My son and Jay became good friends.  Kathy knew all the fun places to go with the kids.  One day, we drove to Tom's River and she took us to a beach at a lake.  The kids had such a wonderful time.  Kathy and I sat and enjoyed the day and the company and the kids had a great time.  This picture is Soren and Jay on that day! God memory. Miss you Kathy.

Kathy and I worked together at Bamberger's in Tom's River, NJ.  I was her boss but we became best friends.  We both were single parents at the time and loved getting our kids together for adventures.  I had 2 daughters and a son, and she had two sons which delighted my son!  They had some adventures of their own! But most of all I loved just being with Kathy as her smile and laugh were contagious.  She always brought out the best in people.  We went our separate ways but I always remembered the times we shared.  I was so devastated to learned she had passed.  Miss you old friend. See you in the next life!  

i just learned of Kathys death a short time ago. We had not spoken since 1970. I met her when I was a junior at Muskingum College and she was a freshman.  We became"pin mates". And were deeply in love at the time. Unfortunately, we fell apart tragically in the fall of 1969 snd I was drafted into the military in the first draft lottery and served as an infantry platoon leader.  

I have never forgotten her, her mom and dad and "little" brother John E Norton...he was as tall as me.... who I learned died tragically in an auto accident. 

I would deeply appreciate any contact from friends and relatives to help  express my sympathy and  also to gain some  closure.

I am so sad.  We lost touch many years ago, has it really been 30 years, yes it has.  We had such fun together with your Jay and Eric and my girls, Shanon, Sara and son, Soren.  You were the person that held me together after my divorce.  I found you on facebook just last week,  but then you never replied...now I know why.  I can tell you have a great life!  I thought of you many times over the years and many weekends we spent on Long Beach Island.   I will see you again in the next life!  Love, Cheryl

Dearest Kath, I'll never forget the night we took this photo (the one posted on this site).  You and I and George took Eric to the boardwalk to gawk at the full moon over the ocean.  Memories like these are what are in my heart and soul for you my dearest friend.  I am so sorry I could not say goodbye.  I am so sorry we could not celebrate our birthdays together next week. Dear Kathy,
I remember with great joy, receiving one of your eight page letters, with your gorgeous handwriting through out junior high school and high school.  I remember writing "volumes" to you and looking forward to our time together in Toms River.  Carol and I, loved being with you, Mom and Dad Norton and Johnny.  
There could never be a kinder, more loving friend, than you.  You made every minute fun and your  beautiful laughter will always be with me. 
We shared many sad moments through life, but always had smiles on our faces when we were together.
