Kathleen Ann Sheppard

Kathy was most happy when spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also looked forward to spending Tuesdays with her sisters, Sheila and Rose Ann, and best friend, Mary, solving all the world’s problems. She loved the simple things: a cup of tea, crossword puzzles, New York cheesecake, and Andrea Bocelli. Kathy also adored chatting with her friend and caregiver, Hilda, while enjoying the sunshine from her porch.

Kathy is survived by her 3 children, Thomas Sheppard and girlfriend, Gina Sharpe of Hot Springs, AR; Karen Conway and husband, John of Point Pleasant, NJ; and son Daniel Sheppard of Phoenix, AZ. Kathy was an adoring grandmother to Brian, Kevin, Jack, Katie, Kelly, Justin, Brennan, Mary Kate, and T.J.

One of 13 children, Kathy is predeceased by her brothers, Charles, Dennis, Cormick, Patrick and John Dugan; and her sisters, Mary LoPrest and “womb-mate” Margaret Givens. She is survived by brothers, Daniel, Terrence and Joseph and sisters, Sheila and Rose Ann.

Private services for the family will be held at The Shore Club, 700 Route 71, Spring Lake, NJ 07762 on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 12:00-3:00.
