Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, to Louise and Edward Fox Sr., Larry later made his home in Andover Township, where he raised his family. Upon retiring, he moved to the Jersey Shore to be closer to family and friends.
Larry dedicated his career to his calling as an electrician, a trade he loved and respected deeply. To him, it was more than just a job, it was an art form. His strong working hands crafted a life’s work that endures not only in the homes he lit but also in the knowledge he passed down to others. Though his hands grew tired and worn, they are now at rest. His legacy continues to shine in the light he left behind and in the hearts of those who loved him.
A man of strength and steadfast loyalty, Larry lived his life by showing up for those he loved. He often filled roles for his family and friends whenever they needed him most. His greatest joy, however, was being “Pop-Pop” to his two granddaughters, a role he embraced with pride and unwavering love.
Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Roseann (Piazza) Fox, in 2021. As their wedding song For Once In My Life reminds us: I am not alone anymore. He is also predeceased by his parents; his loving sister, Louise Fox; his sister-in-law, Lee Riccio, her husband and his veranda buddy, Frank Riccio Junior; and brother-in-law Anthony J. Piazza Sr., who was always in the chair beside him watching a game.
Larry leaves behind his two children, Lalainya Fox and Damian Fox; his adored granddaughters, Cristalla and Gianna; his brother, Edward J. Fox Jr.; sister-in-law Dina and her husband John Lynam; sister-in-law Sheila Menkes; his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; as well as his extended family - the Corio and Piazza cousins. He will also be lovingly remembered by his lifelong friends who he considered family -Michael Colicchio, John McGuiness, and Steve Dunning; along with the community he cherished, including the HCB Bocce Team and Veterans and Friends.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Rt. 37 W, Toms River, NJ 08755.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover funeral expenses and support the family during this difficult time would be deeply appreciated. The Fox Family extends their sincere gratitude for your love, prayers, and support.
