

Mr. Wehner was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1972 to 1976 and was a member of the American Legion.
Larry loved nothing more than attending all his grandkids games and cheering them on from the sidelines. He was always their biggest fan.
He was a family man that was his happiest when surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, George T. Wehner and Theresa Joan (Cherba) Wehner.
Mr. Wehner is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Betty Jane (Coburn) Wehner and was a devoted father to his children, (Larry) LJ Wehner, Jr. and his daughter in law, Laura (Deuel) Wehner, his (princess) daughter, Jackie (Wehner) DeFilippo and son in law, Dennis DeFilippo. He was the proud Pop Pop to his grandchildren, Derek Wehner, Brielle Wehner and Dalton DeFilippo. He is also survived by his siblings, George Wehner, Jr. and wife, Patti of Fairlawn; Mark Wehner and spouse, Nancy of Garfield; Steve Wehner of Wall and Deborah (Wehner) Clemis and spouse, William Clemis of Wall; and by his nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
He also leaves behind his faithful companions Toby and Tucker .
Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 1-3 pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
