Lorraine Marie Arias-Beliveau was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on April 16, 2021 at age 71. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
She was born to Thomas and Theresa Arias on August 27, 1949. After graduating from high school, Lorraine worked in fashion and cosmetics, married, and had 3 children: Love, Adrianna and Joelle. A loving grandmother and aunt, she doted on her grandson Christian and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine loved traveling and learning about other cultures. Her travels took her to the Holy Land, around the Mediterranean, and throughout Europe and Canada. She loved spending time in the kitchen, recreating traditional family recipes for her family. Friends and family would gather around the table for holiday meals listening to detailed stories about her travels -- often punctuated by her own laughter.
Her obvious physical beauty belied a deep faith and scholarly interest in religion and the Bible. Working diligently from home she earned multiple degrees in theology. Beautiful inside and out, Lorraine became quite a scholar earning a Doctorate in Theology.
Viewings are scheduled from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. with a service at 3:30pm, on April 25, 2021 at the Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, New Jersey.
