
Lorraine I. Caris, 65, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of Toms River for over 40 years. Lorraine attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison University. She was employed by Community Medical Center as a Patient Access Administrator for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. Lorraine was a longtime supporter and active board member of Na’Amat USA, an extremely talented artist, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her pride and joy was spending time with her cherished grandchildren and family. She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Goldie Rosengarten, her brother Steven Rosengarten and sister Arleen Shapow. Surviving are her beloved husband of 45 years Bob, three loving daughters Dawn Cullaton, Jessica Lincoln and her husband Jeremy, and Ariel Lager and her husband Alex. Lorraine is survived by her treasured grandchildren Jacob, Caris, Aviva, Caleigh and Angie. A memorial gathering to celebrate Lorraine’s life will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River.
