

Mattie Louise Hilton, 86, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Bey Lea Village in Toms River. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky. She had lived in Maryland and Maple Shade, NJ before moving to Toms River over 40 years ago. She worked in the field of home nursing as a registered nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toms River, America's Keswick in Whiting, and the Bread of Life Food Pantry.
Mrs. Hilton was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Hilton in 1989; and a son, Larry in 1986. Surviving are three sons, Charles Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Riverside, Roger of Beachwood, and Robert and his wife Linda of Mays Landing; two daughters, Mary L. Bottino of Galloway Twp., and Arlene Hilton and her husband Tom of Toms River; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 15 at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry, c/o the First Baptist Church, 700 Main St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
