Michael Howard King

Howard King, 78, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on April 25, 2017, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, raised in Bayonne, and resided in the Toms River area since 1982. Howard retired from ASA Apple in Carteret in 2004. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Toms River. Howard loved being at the Jersey Shore. He enjoyed boating and fishing and was an avid reader. Family was everything to him. He especially loved spending time with his cherished grandchildren.

Howard is survived by the love of his life, his beloved wife of 56 years, Catherine Sinopoli King (Cathy of Silver Ridge Realty); his two children: Denise Silvestrone, and Dennis King and his wife Laura; his five grandchildren: Anthony, Emily, Connor, Stephanie, and Aubrey; his niece Lisa Pascal; and many caring friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 4 to 8PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Cremation will be private.
