

Peter John DeLisa, 73, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on November 12, 2015. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and lived in Oakhurst before moving to Toms River. Peter worked as a warehouse manager for over 20 years for Indol Color Company in Carteret, NJ. During his high school days, he was a record breaking athlete which led to him becoming a draft pick of the NY Yankees. Throughout his life, he had a passion for baseball and softball. He umpired softball games and was a referee for basketball and soccer.
Peter loved his wife and children and the time spent with them.
Peter adored and is survived by his beloved wife Judy to whom he was married for 29 years; his brother Daniel DeLisa and his wife Terry; his children: Bob DeLisa, Doug and his wife Kathy DeLisa, Rod and his wife Theresa DeLisa, Colleen and her husband Matt Sullivan, Susan Zurick, Chris and Cathy Zurick, and Melissa and David Goldstein; his thirteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and nieces and nephews. Peter will be dearly missed by his family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday from1 to 4 PM, with a Service at 2PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
