Born on April 7, 1951, in Brooklyn NY, Richard was raised in Brooklyn before moving to New Jersey to build and raise his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and dedicated his entire professional career to Eastman Kodak, where he worked faithfully until his retirement.
Richard was married for 49 years to his beloved wife, Susan. Together they built a life centered on family, loyalty, and quiet devotion. He was a steady and dependable presence, known for his
reserved nature and kind heart.
In retirement, Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He especially loved taking Penny on long walks, cherishing the peaceful routine and companionship. Though fairly quiet, his presence spoke volumes to those who knew and loved him.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Susan of 49 years; his brothers Steven, Joseph, Sister in law, Mary; his son, Richard; Lauren; and Penny. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 1pm, at the Ocean County Memorial Park Chapel in Toms River NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
