Robert N. Gabriel Sr.

Robert N. Gabriel Sr., 82, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Lakehurst and raised in Island Heights. Robert worked for NJ Natural Gas Co. for 40 years. He was an avid hunter and decoy collector. He was a member of Tuckerton Seaport and NJ Decoy Collectors Association.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Diane; and his children: Bev, Debbie, Donna, Harry, Linda, Bobby, Tammy, Timmy, David, Brian, and Melissa, and their spouses. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; his brother Al Gabriel and his wife Shirley, his brother-in-law Don and his wife Arlene Bennett, his sister-in-law Mary Su Bennett, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, from 2-4 & 7-9, with a Service at 8PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation is private.
