

Romeo Madrazo Simeon, 55, of Beachwood, NJ, passed away at home on September 17th, 2014, with his loving family by his side. He was born in the Philippines, and lived in Plainfield for many years before moving to Beachwood ten years ago. He served as a Police Officer for the city of Plainfield for 26 years, 13 of which he worked in the Narcotics Division. He received many awards and commendations. Romeo was a Yankee, Rangers, and Giants fan, and an extremely dedicated Hockey Dad and loved taking all the children to their sports events. Romeo was a great husband and father. He dearly loved his family and was a good friend to many. A huge void will be left in the many lives he touched.
Romeo was predeceased by his parents Vincente and Leticia Simeon, and his son Georgie. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Kathy of 22 years; his two sons Dillan and Hunter at home; his siblings Rolando Simeon, Gencie Simeon, Dolores Simeon-Tafaro, Alan Simeon, Vincente Simeon Jr. and Maria Linda Simeon; and many caring extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. The funeral service will be 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Dillan’s and Hunter's College Fund.
