Mr. Ketcham was born in Brooklyn, NY and went on to become a police officer for the Summit Police Department. He also served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Harwood from 1958 to 1962.
Surviving are his children Scott Ketcham Jr. and his wife, Larae, Michelle Hyla and her husband Allen, Megan Ketcham, and Allison Cronin; grandchildren Cassandra Hyla and Travis Hyla; niece Sara Ketcham; nephew Tom Marshall; friends Olga Jelissejeva, Aleks Jelissejev, Aleksandra Jelissejeva, and many other loving family and friends.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
