Shirlene was born in Washington, D.C., to the late Leo and Gweneth Simon. She attended Annapolis Elementary School in Maryland, St. John’s in Jersey City, NJ, and Central Regional High School in Bayville, NJ.
Shirlene enjoyed gardening, crafting and sewing. She was most proud of her children and the wonderful adults they have become. She will always be by their side.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Steven J. Mack; children, Vanessa, Nicole, Steven, and Peter; grandchildren, Samantha, Josh, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Xander, and Logan.
The family has entrusted Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services to carry out Shirlene’s services which will be private.
