He was 60 years old.
Born in Irvington, he lived many years in Fords, NJ before moving to Toms River about 10 years ago.
He also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Victor and Dorothy Simon; his daughter Michelle Simon; several brothers and sisters, Victor Simon, III, Cathy Rozek, Carl A Simon, and Curt M. Simon along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, 2-5 PM at HORIZON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
A Funeral Service will be offered at 5 PM at the funeral home.
Cremation will be private.
