Born in Newark, she grew up in East Orange and Irvington, and lived in Roselle Park for many years before moving to Toms River in 1998.
Mrs. Hafner was a Registered Nurse, and worked most recently for the Meridian Healthcare System.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and making trips to Atlantic City.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her step children, Joseph, Danielle, Jeanine, and Samantha; her grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Christopher, Amanda, Peyton, and Madison; her sister, Linda Wayda and her husband Paul; her niece, Lori and her husband Ed; her nephew Christopher; her great-nieces, Marissa and Gina; and her great-nephew, Christopher.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Funeral Service will be held during the evening visitation.
Cremation will be private.
