A graduate of Shore Regional High School class of 1978, Terrance also spent his younger days volunteering with the West Long Branch Fire Department.
Terrance retired after 36 years of service with the United States Postal Service as a Mail Handler and enjoyed spending his retirement playing pool, making renovations to his home and spending time with his family.
Among the many roles Terrance cherished in life, none were more dear to him than being a father to his beloved daughter, Emma. He was her fiercest protector, her most loyal fan, and her confidant when asking for advice. Whether it was staying up late to help with school projects, offering wisdom through tough decisions, or simply being there to listen — his love never wavered. It was steady, selfless, and unconditional. Their bond was one of deep admiration and mutual respect. He saw in her the best of himself and encouraged her to always chase her dream. In turn, she saw him as a source of strength and unconditional support. His eyes always lit up when he spoke of her, and his pride in the woman she became was impossible to miss.
Terrance was most proud of his daughter on the day of her wedding. In his words, second to Emma being born, giving his daughter the wedding of her dreams was the happiest day of his life.
Terrance is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Warren Donahue, father Richard Donahue Sr, sister Lucinda “Cindy” Donahue and nephew Michael Leary.
