Pat , Suzanne, Jennifer, Jessica, Ralph, Anthony, Thomas, Joseph, Rhiannon, & Abigail,  It is so hard to believe what has happened, but Tom will always be with us in pleasant memories.  He left a great legacy for all those who who know him.  We love and respect him, and you will always be apart of him   You are close to us in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry to hear of Tom's passing.  He  was a fellow fireman and friend of my husband, Ed Ides.

To the family of Thomas Miserendino, my only wish is that I could have known your father, husband, dad, and friend. Just looking through the pictures I can tell he was a great person and the epitome of what an American Hero is today. Viet Nam War Vet, volunteer, husband, dad, a "go to guy!". I had the privilege and honor of working with Tom while he was the Facilities Manager for the Long Branch Public Schools. He was compassionate and understanding, and had a very clever sense of humor.

He was dedicated to the country he loved and to public service. His family was paramount to him, and he often spoke about the trips he took with Pat and the girls. 

My deepest sympathy to Pat and the girls, Tom was a great man and will be deeply missed.

Dear Miserendino Family,

It is with great sadness that I learn today of Tom's passing.  While a resident of Beachwood for some 20 years, I was honored to meet and know Tom and worked along side him as a member of the Beachwood Planning Board, he being the liaison to it from the Borough Council during my tenure on that board,

It is a great thing to give of oneself so often and for so many years in the fire department and borough governance.  Many positive things have come from those involvements, not the least being friendships and kindneses that will be remembered into eternity.

Next visit to the Washington, DC area, I will try to stop off at Arlington to pay a visit.  Rest well soldier, good and faithful servant!

Tom was among the best people who have ever served as Manager to the New jersey Firemen's Home. He was so dedicated to the guest and he was so great to the HOME. He will be sorely missed by everyone at the Home.
