Born in Newark, he lived in Ortley Beach and Brick before moving to the Holiday City-Silverton six years ago.
Mr. Reilly was a sheet metal worker for over 25 years, most recently for Jersey Shore Sheet Metal, Toms River. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion, Seaside Heights.
He was also a member of the Moose Lodge of Ortley Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Jennifer Hunter and her husband Joseph of Brick; two grandchildren, Joseph Hunter Jr. and Jason Hunter; and a brother, Garrett Reilly.
Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
Interment of cremains with Military Honors will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10:00 am.
