Mr. Alan Victor Allen Cavener "Victor Allen"

Victor's loss is deeply mourned by Claude, his life partner and spouse. Victor was Claude's fiercest Protector and greatest Champion. Magnet and iron. Together for more than 24 years, and from the beginning, he was immediately welcomed into the large and extended Morrison family with open arms.

Chosen and raised by his very loving and devoted parents, Mary Hales, with whom he shares a truly extraordinary bond, and the late Edward Cavener. Dear brother of Linda (Erhard), proud uncle of Jeffrey (Kristin), and baby Dagmar. He is also very much loved and missed by his extended family in England.

Earlier married to the late Irene Basque, and together they were the proud parents of Jason (Lesley). Victor and Jason shared a special father-son connection. Victor was a step-grandfather to Niall, and the treasured 'Pakaa' to his granddaughter Hero. He so looked forward to watching Hero move further along her own life path, and he took unconditional pride in her many accomplishments.

Alan Cavener began his professional life at Morgan's (The Bay), in his hometown of Montreal. As his life and career progressed, Alan became better known as Victor Allen. Victor was blessed with a multitude of colleagues and clients, far too numerous to name, and who, over the years, went on to become close personal friends. Victor was always keeping current with evolving styles of fashion and hair, and that, in turn, kept him young and engaged in his work. The breadth of his wisdom, humour, loyalty, and generosity is the stuff of legend.

Victor's Memorial, Celebration of Life, and 69th birthday will be concurrently observed at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne at 11 am March 15. Reception to follow.
