Alfred Edgar, peacefully, on Friday, June 6, 2014 in his 92nd year, at Toronto East General Hospital, son of the late Arthur Edgar Scrutton and Katie May Fuller. Predeceased by his wife, Barbara Agnes Gardner in 1988 and brothers Robert and George and sister Elizabeth and his son, Christopher Arthur Scrutton and his daughters-in-law Stephanie Scrutton (Christopher) and Ghislaine Scrutton (Lawrence).
Survived by his son, Lawrence and daughters Katherine and Veronica (Kenneth Naruse) and his grandsons Matthew and Michael Naruse.
Visitation at Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Requiem mass, on Thursday, June 12, 2014, in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment on Friday, June 13, 2014. Flowers gratefully declined donations to Toronto East General Hospital Foundation.
