Today was a very hard day, I had to said goodbye to you.  I knew you were tired and needed your rest.  Now you are out of all your pain and can rest comfortably in the arms of our Lord. Rest in peace mom, your work on earth is done.  I will miss our daily visits. Love Darlene

We remember Eileen fondly for the times when we work as partners at Calvary Baptist Church in Toronto. Subsequently she visited us in Wolfville and extended hospitality to us in Toronto. My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Eileen's entire family at this time.  She was my genealogical and family history partner and truly was my inspiration to continue the search.  We shared many ideas and facts in our search for the Dowe lineage.  I also loved having chats on the phone with her about everything, especially the family.   I shall deeply miss her.  -- Liz

I have many wonderful memories of times spent with Aunt Eileen.  She was a warm, kind and wonderful aunt and a lovely sister to my Mom who thought the world of her.  It is hard to believe that Mom, Aunt Eileen and Uncle Russell are all gone.  They had some great times reliving Avon Street days in Bible Hill.  Thinking of you all at this time.

Very sad to learn of Eileen's passing but also a joy for the wonderful person and gracious lady. We shared many family genealogy communications but the most important piece was the many prayers Eillen offered and shared in honour of our late daughter, Julie Anne.

We are so very sad to hear that our beloved neighbor and friend Eileen has passed away.  She was a wonderful person, much loved by so many with a beautiful personality and a kind heart.  We were very fortunate to have known her and will miss her dearly.  Our prayers will be for her and her family.  May she rest in peace.

I had the great pleasure of helping Eileen for the past 4, almost 5 years.  I will remember Eileen as a very witty, strong and independent lady.  I had a lot of laughs with her and we both really enjoyed each others company.  She always told me how she looked forward to my visits and our chats. Eileen always spoke very highly of her family and friends and spoke passionately about her church. My deepest condolences go to the family and my thoughts and prayers are with all of them. May you rest in peace Eileen, I will miss you xo
