I got to know Andrew through work.  She always brought humour, wit, and enthusiasm to her work.  I enjoyed working on a deadline when I knew it was for her.  My condolences.

Sister who will live forever in your heart

I remember a sultry summer evening, maybe seven or eight years ago, when Andrea and her mother, Gail, hosted a barbecue for some of us from the branch, including my two sons and my husband. It was a magical evening and for nobody more than my sons whom Andrea entertained with Harry Potter movies and snacks. They immediately loved her. When I told my oldest son, Nick, who is now nineteen, the tragic news, he cried out , "Oh no... I loved Andrea." She just had a wonderful, fun-loving way about her. We will remember her.

To the Kelly Family,

Like so many others who worked alongside Andrea at MMAH I have nothing but the fondest of memories. Andrea had an amazing ability to keep smiling even when the rest of the room had furrowed brows.

She will be so greatly missed.

The early morning issues team will miss Andrea's insight into politics and current events.  We will miss her humour and generosity.  And we will miss the stories she shared about her family.  She loved you very much.

Whenever I spoke to Andrea, I was always impressed by how much she cared about you. Wishing you strength in your time of sorrow.

Even though I knew Andrea only as a business associate, the times we spoke were all too special as she had the amazing ability to bring calm and saneness to ones busy day. Never one to judge or criticize, she made me a better person and I am sure most people who knew her felt the same. I will miss her calls and the laughs we shared. I will miss her. To Andrea's Family:
In life, we are truly blessed when we meet someone as caring, kind and compassionate as Andrea was.  As the Receptionist at the Minister's Office, I have met many people over the years, Andrea was one of those very special persons who always treated me with the outmost respect.  It was a privilege to have met her, as a co-worker she was a consumate professional and as friend she made me feel important and valued as a human being.  She loved to share wonderful stories about her family, her face always lit up, as well as life experiences she had; concerts, her days as a travel guide in China and so many other great stories. She was very smart and knowledgeable, but in a down to earth unassuming kind of way.  When she offered to treat me to a nice 'latte' or gave me a box of chocolate or other treats, it always came out of the goodness of her heart. Last Tuesday, she treated me to a latte, a week later I had the same one and I toasted her in 'heaven'...
She has left a beautiful imprint in my heart, I shall never forget her.

To Andrea's family:  I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Andrea 10 years ago and always admired her dedication to family and friends.  Andrea left us too soon but her humor, wit and kindness will not be forgotten.

To Andrea's family and friends:  I had the pleasure of working with Andrea when I first started in the OPS in issues management.  She was both a mentor and a friend to me, and I will never forget the fun we had together, and her wicked sense of humour!  I wish we had more time with her.

Andrea and I talked / battled politics
Laughed till we cried
I ate my first sushi with Andrea when she got her first credit card.  I still point it out to my daughters when we drive by the spot (they love sushi)
Andrea and I would talk and laugh after everyone else had left.
She'd call me from my house from my kitchen table with Toula trapped by Rover (my crazy cat)
She's one of my fondest memories from my teenage years. We shared carefree reckless abandon that only comes with youth and can never be recreated.
Although I haven't seen Andrea for 20 years when we last spoke it was like yesterday and we planned about getting together and decided to try for June.

I wish my life hadn't gotten so busy that we drifted apart.  I see her personality in the shine through in the others comments, I see those same gestures I loved in the pictures.

Andrea, Jonathan Bear (made by Carolyn I recall) still is placed on our bed every morning. It's a daily reminder to me of the friendship we shared.

My sincere condolences.  I knew Andrea from my time at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.  If anyone could make government issues interesting, it was Andrea.  She was so enthusiastic and friendly, you felt that way just to be around her.  I haven't seen her for about 5 years, but I remember her smile and laugh almost as if it were yesterday.

Andrea I will always remember you for befriending me during my first days at MMAH.  You took me under your wing and taught me much of what I know today.
