I think of you often dear aunt Anne. ...Lynda kirk.

Ms. Ann Madden lived a long and full life, but still the losing of her is very difficult to deal with.  How important it is to cherish the many happy memories that your family has shared together.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow.  We don't know what to say.  We can't understand exactly how you feel, but God does and will keep raising you up.  We hope that our prayers will help a little.  While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you.  So, lets search the Bible for a scripture that will help give your family the hope and encouragement that they need.  One reads like this. "He will swallow up death forever.  And the Sovereign Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces."  Isaiah 25:8

I  was saddened to hear of auntie Ann-s passing!  we were always excited when she came to visit and would wait by the bus stop   for her arrival. Auntie Ann was always beautifully dressed and I marvelled at how  all her colours matched.Auntie Ann would always show up with clothes for our dolls especially Barbie. Most times she had knit or sewen  outfits for our dolls( and there was four girls).  Even though we had five kids in the family, Auntie Ann always had some candy for us too- usually chocolate and  nouget candy! Always felt her warmth and love! Rest in peace Auntie Ann 💗

Dear Aunty Ann
I knew you'd live to be 99.  You were so full of life.  I remember all those weekend sleepovers with my cousins Paul and Paula and Paula was my best friend in those teenage years.  I couldn't wait to get over to your house.  You made the best pizza, you were the best Mom and a truly loving wife, even through the hardest of times.. always a smile and a welcoming hug.  You were loved and respected by all who knew you.  We will miss you but look forward to meeting you again on that beautiful shore.. May God bless you and keep you forever and ever

Oh Aunt Ann loved you to death, you always stopped in to see me at work just to say hi and it always brightened my day.  Loved our family picnics when I was young always looked forward to seeing my cousins Paul & Paula.  May you rest in peace and be united with Paul once again.  Love you

To me she will always be Auntie  Ann, even though she was our great aunt. As a young girl I was always excited knowing she was about to visit as it meant new outfit handmade by her for my barbies!  Not only was she always dress appropriately but so too were my dolls!  Even though there were five of us she always managed to find some small little treat for each. She was a wonderful storyteller and a beautiful soul!  You will always have a special place in my heart.

Thinking about you today Paula in this time of reflection.  I never had the pleasure of meeting your Mom. My sister Mary Rose would share with me such happy stories of visiting your Mom.  Such a very special woman who spread her love and warmth.  “Trish”



Once in a while the gift of someone special enters your life. Ann was my gift!  She began as the Mom of my friend,Paula, her daughter but over the years grew to be my extra Mum. So many talents were shared. Always a story and a knitted dish cloth or a cutting from a plant whose origin was included. The glow of this lady’s smile added a touch to her coordinated outfits.  Ann was ready for the runway at every visit.  
Ann loved a good time and could report back all kinds of observations of the activities in the room, with a great deal of humour. 
Never a dull moment for sure.
I will miss the smiles, the stories and the touch of her hand on mine that reached into my heart.  When I need a lift, I will just think of the ducks.  A favourite story!
Thank you Ann for being such a beautiful part of my life. 💕

Ann will be remembered for her concern, dedication, kindness and friendship to the poor whom she served as a past President SVP, OLOL parish.
She was a great story teller and documented many of her memories while taking a writing course at Ryersons.  Paula I hope you find that binder.
RIP my friend.  Great is your reward. As God said" when I was hungry you fed me, thirsty you gave me drink and naked you clothed me."  Welcome into God's Kingdom.

Hello Paula and family,
I am sorry that dear Ann has left you. I know what a loyal daughter you have been to her and will have your own special memories.
I only met your mum once, but remember the sweetest smile.
