Anna was born on February 3, 1938, in Pescosolido, Frosinone, Italy, and passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, in Toronto.
She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Pasquale Simone, after 21 years apart, as well as with her loving parents, siblings, and many cherished family members.
Anna was the devoted and loving mother of Enza (the late Enzo Silano) and Joanne (Tom Tsiliopoulos), and a proud and devoted Nonna to Dannielle (Ryan), Dennis (Caity), Anne Marie, Emily, Dino, Ariss, and Alexander. She was also the cherished Bisnonna of Damian and Jada, whose lives brought her immeasurable joy.
She will be dearly missed by her brother, Loretto (Grace) and her sister Rosa; her sister-in-law, Filomena; and by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Anna will forever be remembered for the deep love she had for her family. She was happiest when everyone gathered around her table to enjoy the delicious Italian meals she lovingly prepared. An avid gardener with a true green thumb, she found great joy in tending to her vegetable garden—especially her prized tomatoes—and caring for her beautiful flowers.
Some of Anna's greatest joys in life were the births of each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for each of them was unconditional, and she beamed with pride at every opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and milestones. Her kindness, warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Anna will be forever loved, fondly remembered, and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
