Born on July 26, 1931, in Villa Santo Stefano, Frosinone, Italy, Annita grew up on a family farm, where she learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and care. These qualities shaped her throughout her life and remained with her after immigrating to Toronto. She took great pride in tending her garden, nurturing flowers, vegetables, and fruit with the same dedication and love she gave to her family.
On May 29, 2026, God called Annita home to His heavenly garden, where she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Angelo Bonomo, who predeceased her in 2011, and her cherished son, Alberto Bonomo, who passed away in 2025.
She leaves behind her devoted son, Julio (Lucy). She was a proud and loving Nonna to Robert, Julia, Michael-Angelo, Mikaela, Nikita, and Nikolaus, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Annita will be fondly remembered by her extended family, relatives, and friends in Canada and Italy. Her strength, resilience, kindness, and deep devotion to family touched all who knew her. Whether sharing a meal, offering a word of encouragement, or spending time in her beloved garden, Annita created lasting memories that will be treasured for generations.
Though her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who loved her, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace, tending God's heavenly garden and reunited with those she held dear. Her legacy of love, faith, hard work, and devotion to family will continue to bloom in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
