Born in Caccamo, Sicily, Nino immigrated to Canada in 1960, where he established a life centred around his family. He was the beloved husband of Vittoria Giannone (née Cancasci) for 63 years and the devoted father of George (Elizabeth), John, and Guido (Julie).
Nino will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Gabriel, Evan, Lily, Damian, and Daniella. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Salvatore “Toto” and Vincenza “Enza.”
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and friends in Canada, the US, and Italy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nino’s memory to Canadian Kidney Foundation.

Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 1141 St Clair Ave West, on August 9, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church, 1118 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, on August 10, 2026, at 11:00 am.
