He has been reunited in Heaven with the love of his life, Alfonsina (Maria) who passed away in 2011.
Beloved father of Assunta (Rosario Calcagno), Frank, Lucia (Domenic Bellacicco) and Franca (Richard Johnson). Cherished Nonno of Joseph (Vanessa), Daniel, Lucia and Alessandra (Nevinn). He will be dearly missed by his siblings; Trenita, Rosa, Domenica, Angelo and their families.
Antonio will be remembered for his strength, resilience, and love for his family, always maintaining a strong connection with family here in Toronto as well as abroad in Italy and Brazil. Antonio was ready and willing to lend a helping hand to friends, family and neighbours, never hesitating to help others without needing to be asked. His love of gardening was shared with his son Frank, taking pride in making his backyard vegetable garden flourish and sharing the produce with others.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Heineck and her wonderful team at Housecalls for all of the care they have provided to ensure that our father, Antonio was taken care of.
Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin St.) on Monday, October 19th from 9:15am-10:15am.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am at St. Clare’s Parish, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W.
Entombment Service will be at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St Clair Ave. W. for those that would like to join the family.
