Peacefully on June 10, 2026 at the age of 87, Assunta Santina passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Antonio. Proud mother of Anna (Giovanni Rico), Carlo (Elena), and dearly departed son Sergio (Vicky). Assunta will be the guardian angel of her grandchildren Steven (Megan), Robert (Tamara), Cristina, and Grace. Her legacy lives on through her great grandchildren William and Abigail. She will be held dear in the hearts of her relatives, and many friends.
Friends and relatives will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, June 15, 2026 at ST. PHILIP NERI CHURCH (2100 Jane St.) The Committal Prayer and Entombment will be held following the Mass at WESTMINSTER CEMETERY (5830 Bathurst St.). Donations in memory of Assunta may be made to Diabetes Canada Foundation.
