Barbara passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on September 30, 2026 after a brief illness. After emigrating from Scotland with her mum in the late 1960s, Barbara, a hard worker, held retail positions until she settled at the CBC for almost 30 years. Predeceased by her parents, Isobelle and William (Willie) Carroll, Barbara will be greatly missed by her Canadian friends and especially by her devoted cousin in Scotland, Wilma McLachlan. Cremation has taken place.
