Barbara was born in Hove, England on July 13th, 1934, sister to Graham and Patricia Ash. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest Ross Evans in 2020. Loving mother of Keith and Judy and cherished Grandmother of Christopher and Michael and Great grandmother to Maeve.
Barbara was born in Southern England and lived through the years of war as a youngster. She was schooled at an all girls convent in Shoreham. She was a trained Dentist’s assistant in Brighton where she became intrigued by all things medical.
The family would like to thank all of the Spectrum PSW’s who supported Mom along with the wonderful staff at Craiglee Long Term Care facility. And finally thank you to all of the staff at Scarborough General Hospital who provided compassionate Palliative care.
Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, CA, on October 24, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
