Belatedly flipping through the last Osgoode Continuum Magazine today, it was a shock to discover the very sad news of Bette's passing. We were good friends in Law School, and we tried to have an evening together every few years or so when I passed through Toronto. Perhaps inevitably, time and distance eventually resulted in us losing touch over the last decade. But I remember her smile and her gentleness, and the sense of humour that led her to give me a car ice scraper to make sure that, no matter how hot the weather in Australia, I would always have memories of our escape from the Great Snowstorm back in 1st Year. My sincere condolences to family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy for Bette's family. It is a very sad loss.  We will remember very fondly her kind and soft presence. She was a good friend to our mother, Nathalie, and enjoyed some family dinners with us and a rustic fishing weekend.

Our sincerest condolences to everyone in the family.  Remember Bette fondly both from her involvement with the ESG Choir and also when she was helping with the rummage sale.

Remember when the newspaper called Northdale the Bette Eubank Concert Band?  Bette, you were the soul and backbone of the group, tireless and enthusiastic.

My sincerest sympathies to Bette's family and friends. While at U of T I sang with Bette for a number of years in Hart House chorus and remember her as a very bright, kind and lovely lady with a quiet but great sense of humour!

I'll always think of Bette as a bright light with a warm soul. She touched so many people with either a smile or a hug. Those of us who knew her from Earl Haig S.S. will miss her.

Judy and Lawrie, I am so sorry to read about Bette.  My last memory of Bette is of a cute little girl at 15 Highgate.  Judy, do you remember our many happy hours catching bees in the hollyhocks and Lawrie, I wonder if you remember your first babysitter?  Judy Manning.

I heard about Bette's passing last night at Sunday Northdale rehearsal and I would like to express my deep condolences to Bette's family. 

Bette has been a member of my flute section for some time and she has always been a keen player and always willing to learn new things. Reading her very delightful and detailed markings on the music we played over the years was evidence of this. The flute sectionals we held  at her house were special and we had a lot of fun. 

Bette will be missed by the section and all those who knew her.

I learned, just yesterday, of Bette's passing and I wish to express my condolences to the family. I first met Bette many years ago at a CAMMAC summer music camp; in fact, we were roommates and we really seemed to connect with each other. Over subsequent years, Bette and I crossed paths at various music events, then I was so pleased when she decided to join the choir at Eglnton St. George's United Church, where I had been singing for many years. Bette's musicality was exceptional, and I am grateful for the times we spent together. A most memorable time was a day we roamed around Venice, during the choir's Italy tour in 2008. Bette and I took many photos, browsed the shops, and ate a wonderful lunch at the edge of the Grand Canal. These fond memories will stay with me always, and I wish the same for Bette's family members and friends.

I am deeply saddened by Bette's passing.  Back in 2005, we shared a memorable time in Sackville, New Brunswick along with her long time friend Ken Fudurich.

Bette will be sadly missed.

My deepest condolences to all of Bette's family, what a great loss. I met Bette in 1982 at a Northdale Band rehearsal and we have been band friends ever since. I could look across the band, catch Bette's eye and she would give that big, wonderful smile. Bette contributed to the band in so many ways, being a good flute player but also organizing an annual band Christmas dinner, she was a main player in Northdale's 40th anniversary celebrations, a concert and reception and of course way back in 1985/86 she applied for grants and helped get two 'gigs' for Northdale at Expo 86 in Vancouver! No small feat! Bette will be missed.
