With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, we celebrate the life of Beverley Simpson, who was born in Jamaica on May 24, 1961, and later made Canada her home in 1996. She passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beverley was a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering love. She devoted her life to her children, Kacian Simpson and Shavar Hutchinson, who were the center of her world. Her journey from Jamaica to Canada was one of sacrifice and determination, driven by her desire to provide a better future for her family.
She found joy in the simple blessings of life, in God who was the source of her strength, in music that lifted her spirit, in cooking that brought family together, and in gardening, which reflected her gentle and nurturing heart. Through these passions, she shared love, comfort, and beauty with everyone around her.
Though her passing leaves a great void, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and her selfless devotion to her family.
Beverley is survived by her loving daughter, Kacian Simpson, and son, Shavar Hutchinson, her daughter-in-law, Lael Haseley, and granddaughter, Aleia Angel Hutchinson, along with her cherished family and friends in Canada, the USA, and Jamaica.
