Horse Racing, Golf, Cards, and Anne
The Winner was always Anne
It all started with a poem. Bill was born just north of his beloved Greenwood Racetrack. And just like a true thoroughbred horse, his birth was recorded early January. He lived his heaven on earth. What a life! Golf in the morning, cards before postime, then work at the Racetrack in the afternoon and baseball in the evenings. Running neck and neck with him throughout all his adventures was the love of his life, his angel, Anne. More recently, he still followed all major sports and was a regular card player at the Scarboro Seniors Centre. He leaves behind a loving legacy. Father of Jo-Anne, Brian, Darlene, Brenda and Laura. Grandfather of William, Emma, Steven, Angelica and Sarafina. Thanks to everyone who played a part in Bill’s homestretch run.
