It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, poppy, son, brother and dear friend, Bradley Wayne Finbow(60) of Toronto Ontario. Bradley passed suddenly of heart complications on Wednesday October 11th 2023.
Bradley was born May 6th 1963 in Toronto. He was predeceased by his Father Ronald Finbow, Mother Brenda Lowe and his Sister Ashley Finbow (Wink). Brads days were dedicated to his strolls in the park with his faithful companion and best friend Greta. These walks were more than just exercise, they were an opportunity to connect with his extended family of friends. His charismatic personality naturally drew people to him during his daily outings, making him well known and loved by many in his East York neighborhood where he has lived for the last twenty plus years.
His passion for music especially Led Zeppelin was shared deeply by his close friends and son Matt. In addition to his love for music, Brad was an unwavering fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He rarely missed a game and his knowledge of the players statistics and his ability to break down every aspect of the game were unmatched. Among his many prides in life one of the greatest was being called Poppy by his granddaughters. He cherished lengthy phone chats and visits with them.
Brad’s life was a testament to the love he shared with his family and friends, the joy he found in all of life’s small moments and the legacy he leaves behind as a devoted Dad and Poppy.
He will be lovingly remembered by his Son Matt Finbow and daughter in law Kate, Granddaughters Norah and Macie Finbow. His Mother Janet Finbow, Sisters Valerie Swettenham and Debbie (Alan) Lehto. Nephews Brandon (Crystal) Moore, Garrett (Jessica) Lehto. Niece Catherine (Chris) Lehto.
A private Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. For more information please email [email protected].
