

Born in Revo, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy, Bruna was a woman whose love for her family, her faith, and her passions was boundless. She was known for her warmth, her nurturing spirit, and her selflessness. As a devoted mother, Bruna cherished her sons above all else, always providing them with guidance, love, and care. She was the heart of her family, and her strength, patience, and grace will never be forgotten.
Bruna had a true gift for cooking, and her kitchen was always filled with dishes that brought family and friends together. Her hands were just as skilled at knitting, and her beautiful creations warmed the hearts and homes of those lucky enough to receive them.
But above all, Bruna’s love for God and her dedication to the church defined her life. Her faith was unwavering, and she spent countless hours in prayer and service, sharing the love of Christ with all those she met. Her devotion to her parish and her community was an inspiration, and her life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and kindness. She has been reunited with her loving husband, Luigi.
Bruna is survived by her sons; Remo (Giovanna), Tiziano (Lea), Marco, and Bruno (Diane), grandchildren; Lui, Robert (Jaydee), Bianca, and Matteo, sister; Rita (Silvano), Sister-In-Laws; Olympia and Lidia.
Knowing that she has been reunited with her husband; Luigi, her parents; Ciro and Maria; as well her siblings; Ezio, Paolo, Maria Grazia, and Beppino, her brother in law; Carlo, sister in law; Yolanda and nephews David and Michael, provides the family great comfort. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Her family who will continue to honor her memory through their love and faith. She is also remembered by her many friends and all who were touched by her gentle spirit.
Visitation will take place on Friday January 10 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home – St. Clair Chapel, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W.
Please note, on the morning of the mass there will be no visitation, allowing the family private time prior to.
A funeral mass will be held in her honor at St. Clare Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. on Saturday January 11 at 11:30am, where she spent many years serving her community
Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.
If desired, the family requests that donations be made to St. Clare church as it was dear to Bruna’s heart.
May Bruna Alfonzina Berto rest in peace, and may her soul find eternal joy in the presence of God. She will be missed deeply but will forever remain in our hearts.
