Born in St. Andrews, Grenada, on October 14, 1953, Catherine passed away peacefully in Toronto, Ontario, on August 5, 2025, at the age of 71.
Catherine was a loving mother of Valerie and the late Amanda. She was a cherished grandmother to Jevon, Jazzy, Roxy, and great grandmother to Melo. Sister to Peter, Paul and James and daughter to the late Utilda Theresa George many nieces, nephews and cousins and close friends.
Her warmth, strength, and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many lives she impacted throughout her journey.
It has been asked that all guests attending Catherine visitation or funeral service, do not wear the colour black. Catherine’s wishes were that people do not mourn rather celebrate her wonderful and fulfilled life.
A Celebration of life for Catherine George after the entombment will be at the LITHUANIAN HOUSE on 1573 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario M6P 1A6
