Died peacefully at Loretto Infirmary, Toronto, on July 2, 2015. Sister was in her 99th year of her life and her 70th as a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Loretto Sisters). Predeceased by her parents John J. Bergin and Annie Heenan, her brothers Gerald, Ambrose (Evelyn) and John; her sisters Carmel (Pat) Duggan, Camilla Bergin, Monica Lynch, Frances (Edward) Kelly; and brother in law Ted Lynch. Survived by sisters Helen Lynch, Regina Bergin; brother in law Al Lynch, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sister Charlotte was Principal and teacher at Our Lady of the Airways School, Malton, St. Anthony, St. Alphonsus, and St. Cecilia Schools in Toronto. She then was Librarian and Catechist in Vancouver, moved back to Toronto to serve as Local Leader at Loretto College School, and auditor at the Toronto Catholic Marriage Tribunal. She then ministered at the Loretto Centre in Niagara Falls. Friends may call at Loretto Abbey, 101 Mason Boulevard, on July 7, 2015 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. on the same day. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Loretto Abbey Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on July 8, 2015, followed by interment at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
