Christine Denise Sametz

Christine Denise Sametz, age 62, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away on Sunday August 8, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on August 21, 1958, in Glasglow, Scotland to Oton and Marie Grzebien.

She was first and foremost a dedicated mother who relished in every memory made with her family. For those who knew Christine well, she did not have a mean bone in her body, always putting others above her. She was a loving wife to Glenn and a caring mother to Bryant and Devin.

She will be cherished by her two sisters, Yvonne and Denise, her mother-in-law Jean, her brother and sister in laws, Tracey, Cathie, Nick, Larry, Chris, and Gary. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews: Melissa, Nicole, Michael (Ceren), Alanna (Patrick), and Connor as well as her extended family in Manitoba and the Czech Republic. All of these she loved deeply.

Her beautiful smile and kind heart will always be remembered.

Please join us in celebrating her life Wednesday August 18, 2021, with visitation between 1:00-3:00pm at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, followed by a funeral service from 3:00pm to 3:30pm. Food and refreshments will follow at a family member’s home shortly afterwards. There will be an online stream of the service for those unable to make it due to distance or those who are immunocompromised or shielding during this difficult time.
