Christlie (Chris) Louise Johnson passed away peacefully on Tuesday Aug. 23, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Christlie was the cherished sister to Norma (Cecil Gibbs-deceased) and Johan Johnson. She was a loving Aunt to David Gibbs (Angela) and Nicky (Rob Reilly) as well as the Great Aunt to Stephen, Jennifer, Brayden and Aisha.
Christlie was loved greatly by her extended families, Madaline LaRoux and family as well as recently Keino and Rhonda Bailey and family. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and support team.
Christlie was born in Grenada in 1944 and came to live in Canada in 1984. In 1993 she joined the Lifeshare Community where she spread her wings and thrived.
The family is sending heartfelt thank you to all who sent love, support and prayers for Christlie.
In lieu of flowers the family would be honoured if donations were made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or The Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Christlie.
