Colleen Stringer

July 29, 1966 – October 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleen Marie Irish, who passed away on October 19, 2026.

Colleen will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Crystal, Roger, and Ryan, and her daughters-in-law, Dannie and Cassandra. She was a proud grandmother to Alayna, Nevaeh, Skyla, Bentley, Marissa, and Thomas, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Colleen was one of a kind. Known for her grumpy moments, quick wit, and her willingness to always tell it like it was, she had a personality that was uniquely her own. She was never one to hide what she thought, and her humour and straightforward nature made her unforgettable to those who knew her.

Colleen loved talking on the phone with family and friends, sharing conversations and keeping in touch with the people who mattered to her. Those calls and conversations will be deeply missed, and the memories made through them will be cherished for years to come.

Colleen enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including playing cribbage and cards, enjoying a game of bingo, and cheering on her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. In years past, she loved having a drink, singing karaoke, and having a good time. These are the memories that will bring smiles to the faces of those who knew her and remind them of the moments they shared together.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her siblings Debbie, Sharon, Raymond, and Jojo, along with many other relatives and dear friends. She also leaves behind her best friend, Sandy, who held a special place in her life.

Though Colleen's time with us was far too short, the memories, laughter, conversations, and moments shared with her will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be missed more than words can express and remembered always for the person she was.

Funeral Visitation will be held on October 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by the Service at 3:00 p.m. at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel 467 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X 1K5.
