I will certainly miss your kindness at Assumption.  You will never be forgotten.

Thank you for all the precious moments we spent together in Toronto each time I visited my family.  Your cheerful smile, gentle kindness and positive outlook on life will always be remembered.  I would never forget how generous you were taking me out for lunch last summer when you were feeling better.  I am grateful for your constant prayers for me and my family.  I am truly blessed for your friendship for over ten years, you will be sadly missed forever in my heart.  May you rest in peace with all the angels and saints in heaven.

Thank you Father Chui for being a gentle, kind, loving priest who gave me an my daughter Mariana spiritual support. Your beautiful smile, kind and welcoming was always there to greet us at Holy Rosary. Now you are been welcome in heaven.

We are saddened by the passing of Rev. Daniel Chui. Both my son Adam and my husband came to know Fr. Chui personally while he was a teacher at St. Michael College and Holy Rosary Parish in Toronto.  He impressed us as a gentle, kind and passionate teacher and parish priest. We shall always remember and miss him in this world.  May he have peace and be in company with the Almighty.

Father Chui was one of the most gracious and generous priests I have had the pleasure of knowing and confiding in. He was genuine and gentle and created an unspoken connection with anyone who was willing to share a moment with him. My only regret is not getting to know him better. You are really a good spiritual director for me.  I still remember the day I visited you, you introduced me to your associate pastor as your friend.  What a humble servant of God, you have set a good example to all, that's why you are so much appreciated and respected by all of us.  

May we all be united with you one day in heaven.

i wish to express my appreciation for the many years I have known Father Chui both as a teacher to my two boys and  as a parishoner at Holy Rosary. His kindness and gentle manner remain  as great memories to me and the boys.

I was so very saddened to hear of the death of Fr. Chui. He offered the Mass at my husband Frank's funeral at Holy Rosary in July 2011. He was a man of great faith, joy and warmth and was loved by our family. His beautiful presence is greatly missed. We send our condolences to his family. God rest his soul.

I had the pleasure of working with Fr. Chui at St.Michael's College school and we also spent a week together with students at the Basilian mission in St. Lucia. Fr. Dan was a tireless worker, a delightful person and an inspiration. My condolences to his family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Basilian Order and to the Chui family.  Although Father Daniel lost his voice in the last few month of his life, his courage and  enduring faith spoke volumes of God's great love and glory.  May God reward Fr. Daniel for being a good and faithful servant and grant him eternal rest.

You are greatly missed in this world as you are dear in our hearts. Thank you for faithfully answering God's call in your priestly ministry. You have touched so many lives...
