Denise Diana Dore

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Diana Dore, who passed away in Toronto, Ontario, on August 22, 2026. Born in Toronto on October 17, 1979, Denise lived her life with colour, strength, passion, and an authenticity that was entirely her own.

Denise was the precious daughter of Judy Lacita and the late Luthel. She was a loving wife to her husband, Chris Bradshaw, with whom she shared 13 years, and a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Daysha Lacita. One of her greatest joys was being a cherished grandmother to Kahealani-Illyanna and Elijah.

She will be deeply missed by her dear friends Meisha, Andrea, Lisa, Jackie, and Beverly; her nephews Andy, Meishon, Miguel, Ace, and Jevon; her nieces Alyssia and Alizze; and her goddaughter, Teeanna. To countless others, Denise was lovingly known simply as “Auntie” Whether connected by blood or by the family she chose along the way, Denise had a way of making the people she loved feel like they truly belonged to her.

Bright, loving, colourful, strong, passionate, and unapologetically authentic, Denise was never afraid to be exactly who she was. She was articulate, wonderfully blunt, and always made sure you knew where you stood. If you were one of her own—blood or not—you never had to question her love. And if she didn’t like you... well, you probably didn’t have to question that either. That honesty was simply Denise, and those who knew and loved her wouldn’t have had her any other way.

Denise loved to shop and had an appreciation for anything that allowed her colourful personality to shine. She carried a presence that was impossible to overlook. She was strong when strength was needed, passionate about the people and things she cared for, and fiercely protective of those she considered family.

Above all, Denise will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, godmother, and Auntie. Her strength, humour, honesty, and fierce love for her people leave an imprint that will never be forgotten.

Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain, and Heaven gained someone truly beautiful when you were called home. Continue to watch over us, guide us, and surround us with the same fierce love you gave so freely here on earth.
