Dina Teresa Fontana

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Ferruccio and her beloved sons; Jan (Juan) and Ray (Renato).

Loving mother of Sandra and her husband Maurice Fox. Cherished Nonna of John, Bianca, Phil, Nicole and Bisnonna to many great grandchildren.

Adored Zia to many nieces, nephews and their families here in Toronto and back home in Italy and Argentina. She will be forever loved, remembered and missed by all of her family and friends.

Dina will be remembered as a woman of extraordinary patience and kindness, with a generous spirit that made everyone around her feel cared for, welcomed, and loved. She had a remarkable gift for sewing and creating beautiful garments, sharing her talent generously with those around her. Through her artistry, she made many people feel beautiful, confident, and special. Her loving hands and creative spirit touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of kindness, beauty, and love.

She was truly a queen—a devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, great grandmother , and a treasured friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, kindness, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

A visitation for Dina will be held on Sunday September 20th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home (1141 St. Clair Ave. W.).

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare's Roman Catholic Church (1118 St. Clair Ave. W.) on Monday, September 21st at 12pm.

Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.
