Donald MacAdam died peacefully at the age of 95, surrounded by his family on August 1, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Elizabeth (Liz), his daughters Mary Helen (Don), Phyllis, and Donna (Barry). 6 Grand Children pre-deceased by Darryl Drew and 25 great grandchildren, his brother Edward and his sister-in-law Gwen. Also, many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed walking, gardening and travelling with Mom to Cape Breton and his Tim Horton’s Coffee. He was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and guided us with patience and love. We will miss him.
Visitation will be on Thursday August 13 from 2–4pm. and 6-8pm, at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. Toronto.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 14 at 11am. at St. Joseph’s Church 162 Leslie St.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sick Kids Foundation, Michael Garron Hospital Foundation or Cape Breton Hospital Foundation.
