It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Edward Ali, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:31 PM, after courageously battling a long illness. Mr. Ali was the devoted husband of Norma Ettienne, a loving father to Paula, Tasha, and Janelle, and a cherished stepfather to Sharon, Alicia, Curtis, and Wernar. He was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren, including one who has passed, and one great-grandchild, whose lives he touched with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. His strength, resilience, patience, and kindness will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. We will keep you updated on funeral arrangements as they are finalized. Your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time are sincerely appreciated. A visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will occur at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1 following the service. Reception to follow at the Li Hakka Restaurant - 682 Kennedy Road, Unit 1
