During her many years of life, she was a beloved "Mom" to son Wayne and daughter in law Angela, "Grandma" to grandkids Tia and Preston, eldest sister "Sister Lou" to Pearl, Phil, Latrel (G) and Winsome (Betty), "Aunt Lou" to several nieces and nephews. "Louise" to close neighbors and friends. And "Sister Louise" to her Church Family at Oakwood Baptist Church. A woman of great humility and purpose, deep in fellowship with her Lord Jesus Christ her journey in life took her on many career paths; Pharmacist (Jamaica) and Registered Nurse (Queen Elizabeth Hospital). Viewing for Egla will be held on October 1, 2026 from 6pm to 9pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. As well, on October 2, 2026 from 10:00 am - 10:50 am at Oakwood Baptist Church, 421 Oakwood Ave. followed by her Farewell Service at 11am at Oakwood Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens, 7541 Hwy 50, Woodbridge.
