Mrs. Elena Rose Mauro

Our beautiful Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister and Friend……..

Born on November 13, 1938 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Raised in Capreol, Ontario, alongside her sister Sylvia, by her beautiful parents, Minnie and Fred Ricci.

She was raised to be a warm, caring and friendly person and lived this way her whole life.

United with her forever love, husband Joe, whom she married on July 2nd 1960.

They celebrated almost 49 years of marriage.

A great example of how a lot of love, respect and a little bit of patience makes for a great life.

Mother to her cherished children, Gina (Frank), Lisa (Tony) and Joey (Mary).

We will fondly remember being raised by such a loving and caring mom.

We are forever grateful.

Grandmother to her treasured grandchildren, Priscilla (Joe), Victoria (Alfonso), Sam (Jaclyn), Stephanie (Brenden), Paul (Nicole), Danielle (Andrew), Joseph, Michael, Sabina and great-grandchildren Ariana and Marco.

She loved spending time and enjoyed celebrating all of them.

She brought kindness and joy to all of those around her.

Loved to have a good time and always looked on the bright side of things.

Lived life to its fullest and made everyone around her happier just by knowing her.

She really embraced the art of living and had great fun in doing so.

Passport in hand….always enjoying the countless vacations with her family.

Spending time in a casino was her happy place, especially Las Vegas.

Always smiling.

Always happy and willingly shared that joy with all of us.

She will be remembered with a smile.

Knowing Mom, this is what she would want…..

When I go

just learn to live with my love

in a different way

or look in your shadow

when the sun shines

I'm there.

Sit with me in the quiet

and you will know

that I did not leave.

There is no leaving

when one soul is blended

with another.
